Bacon Bacon update: Went halfsies with Haley and got the grilled cheese and pork belly sammiches.

I will be taking a nap in 5….4…..3……………..

The Bacon Bacon food truck is coming to our office today for lunch and I am over the moon.  Currently, I’m on the website trying to decide what I’m going to get (work will just have to take a backseat, this is important).  

The first thing that catches my eye, the Bacon Bouquet.  Description: Bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, and bacon.

The second item was the Almost Veggie 

Why do I love this you ask?  Because I definitely agree that you can call an item “veggie” if there is only one meat addition.  I think it’s perfectly fine and legal and totally American.  Description: Broccoli rabe, red peppers, bacon, provolone, sriracha aioli.

Now all of this is awesome BUT, want to know the most amazing thing about Bacon Bacon?!?  This food truck right here, this food truck right here….adds BACON JAM to any sammich.  Have you ever had bacon jam?!  I haven’t and I almost fainted when I saw this.  I am ta-HOO excited for my lunch today.

The mere mention of Jack Daniel’s brings certain images to mind, all of them strong and manly: Bikers, bar brawlers, wizened old farmers shooting beer cans off a tree stump. By ordering a Jack on the rocks at some Manhattan bar, I feel like the virility of the brand is somehow instilled within me. With each sip, I become tougher. More of a man. But now it seems the Tennessee bourbon house has become comfortable enough in its masculinity to reveal a more sensitive side with the release of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey.
